HON. G. W. BELDEN, of Stark County, succeeded Hallock as presiding judge of this district, beginning with the March term, 1837 and ending in 1839, when the legislature threw Stark into another district. He died about 1879. Nathaniel Dike and Samuel McNary were commissioned as associates during his term.  Return to Family Tales
