![]() Holy Name Orchestra taken February 18, 1925. A rhyme from this paper...Holy Name High Orchestra is the best one ever heard. When these musicians strike up, no one ever says a word. First is Mallie Sasso, a pianist tried and true. And next comes Panebanco who knows his cornet thru. Thomas Kenney is standing up with saxophone to play. Di Gregory has his cornet two wonders of the day. Mary Doyle is next beheld, with violin in hand, and Ken Keenan as his traps (my father) both make the music grand. The banjo player is Howard Wilson. Famous throughout the town. Ernest Calabria and his violin, is too of fair renown. John Norcia is sitting down. Through the violin he plays, Alex Nyiriate with his violin, has been absent a few days. Another missing member is Edna Mae Robinsons. This picture indeed seems incomplete without these missing ones. Submitted by: Kay Kuebeler |
